We think events are important for the wellbeing of college students, however, after working with colleges for nearly three decades, we’ve noticed something. Students don’t only need support on Wellness Wednesday or during finals week. Stress doesn’t follow the campus calendar.
Student well-being isn’t limited to scheduled appointments or structured programs. It shows up in everyday moments between classes, during study sessions, and in the quiet pressure of academic life.
We often think wellness is about creating spaces where students can disconnect. But what if it’s also about creating experiences that help them reconnect—with themselves, with clarity, and with a healthier perspective?
Sometimes students don’t need more information. They need an experience that helps them reconnect with their own insight, resilience, and ability to move forward—right when they need it, not just when it’s scheduled.
We believe the future of campus wellness isn’t choosing between events and everyday support.
It’s creating a campus where students can encounter moments of well-being throughout the semester—during a wellness fair, a de-stress event, while walking through the student center, or whenever they simply need a moment to reset.
A Question to Consider
If a student needed a moment to reset today—not next month’s wellness event or a counseling appointment next week—Where would they go? More Importantly, what would they experience?
Would they simply find a quiet room? Or would they encounter something intentionally designed to help them slow down, reflect, ask themselves meaningful questions, and leave with a new perspective?
